Submission Rules, Terms and Conditions 2013

• Organiser: The organiser of the event is the Société Jersiaise.
• Number of Photographs: Three photographs must be entered.
• Territories: The competition is open to international submissions and subjects.
• Young Photographers’ Category: Only entrants of eighteen years of age or under on 16th September 2013 may enter this category. Photographers under 18 years of age may enter the open category.
• Entry Fees: A fee of £10 is payable for entry.
• Closing Date: The closing date for submissions is Monday 16th September 2013.
• Copyright: Entrants must be the sole originator and copyright holder of all photographs submitted.
• Model Release: Entrants are responsible for securing model releases where applicable.
• Judging Panel: Gareth Syvret, Project Leader, Archisle: The Jersey Contemporary Photography Programme; Michelle Sank, Archisle International Photographer in Residence 2013; and Jean-Christophe Godet, Director, Guernsey Photography Festival. The Organiser’s decision on all matters is final. No correspondence will be entered into concerning judging of the event.
• Notification: The entrants of winning photographs and those selected for exhibition will be notified by email by 21st October 2013 at the latest.
• Exhibition and Publication: Winning and selected photographs will be included in an exhibition at the Berni Gallery, Jersey Arts Centre, St Helier, Jersey (see: www.artscentre.je) from 18th November to 7th December 2013. Winning and selected photographers will be requested to supply exhibition quality digital files or prints following selection. An online exhibition will be hosted at: www.archisle.org.je . Winning photographs will be reproduced in the Annual Bulletin of the Société Jersiaise. As a condition of entry the organiser reserves the right to reproduction without charge, in all media, of submitted photographs, in connection with the event and in Société Jersiaise publications.
